À propos de cette application

AnkiDroid is a flashcard application for Android built around spaced repetition. Material is organised into decks of cards, each with a prompt side and an answer side. After looking at an answer, the learner rates how well it came back, and the scheduler uses that rating to decide when the card should appear again: soon for shaky items, weeks or months later for material that keeps sticking.

Cards are not limited to plain text. Fields can hold images and audio, which makes the same mechanism usable for language vocabulary, chemical structures, chord names, medical terminology, or exam definitions. Reviewing happens on the device itself, so a study session does not depend on a live connection, and progress is kept in a local collection.

The project is maintained by the AnkiDroid Open Source Team and released under the AGPL-3.0-or-later. It is an Android client only, so anyone who wants to author large decks with a mouse and keyboard will still be doing that work elsewhere and bringing the collection to the phone.
