Baker's Percentage Calculator

Baker's Percentage Calculator is an Android tool for working in baker's percentages, the convention in which every ingredient of a dough is expressed as a share of the total flour weight. Flour is entered as 100 percent and water, salt, leaven and other additions are stated relative to it, giving a formula that can be read and compared independently of batch size.

From that formula the app produces absolute weights for whichever quantity is needed, so a recipe written for a single loaf can be scaled up to a full oven load or down to a test batch without reworking each line by hand. The arithmetic also runs the other way, turning known ingredient weights back into percentages, which is how figures such as hydration are usually compared between recipes.

It is distributed under Apache-2.0 and packaged for Android, making it a phone-side companion for bench work rather than a desktop or web application.
