Acerca de esta aplicación
Grabber is a batch downloader for imageboard and booru style image sites. It is driven by search queries rather than by individual links: a query is entered, the program collects the matching results from a configured source, and the selected items are queued for transfer. Which sites can be reached depends on the source definitions available to the installation, since each source is described by its own configuration rather than hard-coded into the program.
The part of the program that receives the most configuration is the naming and layout of the output. Files are written according to templates that can draw on the metadata a source site attaches to each item, so a downloaded set can be split into directories and file names by those fields instead of by bare numeric identifiers. Because the templates are editable rather than fixed, the resulting folder structure can be matched to however an existing collection is already arranged.
Grabber is published by Bionus under the Apache-2.0 licence. The build covered here is the Linux one.
