Acerca de esta aplicación

Beacon Locator is an Android application for working with Bluetooth beacons, the small low-energy transmitters used for indoor positioning, asset tagging, and proximity triggers. It puts the beacon layer of a Bluetooth environment in front of the user: what devices are broadcasting nearby, how they identify themselves, and how their signal behaves as the phone moves.

The app is aimed at people who need to inspect or interact with beacon hardware directly rather than through a vendor-specific companion app. Typical use is walking a site with a phone to confirm that deployed transmitters are alive and reachable, or to understand an unfamiliar installation before integrating with it.

Distribution is limited to Android; there is no desktop or iOS build. The source is released under the Apache-2.0 licence, which permits reuse in both open and proprietary projects and makes the code a starting point for custom beacon tooling.
