Mount and access VeraCrypt encrypted volumes on Android

androidcrypt enables Android devices to mount and browse VeraCrypt-encrypted volumes. VeraCrypt is a disk-encryption format that uses containers or full-volume encryption; androidcrypt brings read and write access to those containers to the Android platform, where native support does not exist.
Users point the app at a VeraCrypt container file stored locally or on connected storage, supply the passphrase or keyfile, and the app mounts the volume so its contents can be accessed through Android's file system. The app handles the decryption layer transparently during file access and re-encrypts on write. Support is limited to the Android platform; desktop VeraCrypt volumes created on Windows, Linux, or macOS are compatible as long as the container format and cipher suite are supported by the app's implementation.
Because the app deals with encrypted data, the passphrase and keyfile remain on-device and are not transmitted externally, though users should consult the project's documentation for specifics on key handling.
