Adaptive Brightness Tile

Adaptive Brightness Tile is an Android utility by rascarlo that adds a tile to the quick settings panel for turning adaptive brightness on and off. Adaptive brightness is the system feature that adjusts screen brightness according to the ambient light sensor; normally it is reached through the display section of the settings application. The tile shortens that path to a single tap from the notification shade.

The scope is deliberately narrow: it toggles one existing system setting and does not add brightness curves, schedules, or per-application behaviour. It is useful mainly to people who switch the feature on and off often, for example when moving between reading and photography or when conserving battery.

Because quick settings tiles are an Android facility, the application is Android-only, and it depends on the device exposing that setting for modification. It is released under GPL-3.0-only.
