Efax-gtk

Efax-gtk is a GTK-based frontend for the efax program, designed to run on Linux and Unix systems. It enables users to send and receive faxes using a computer fax modem or through a network fax service such as efax.net. The application manages incoming and outgoing transmissions, maintains an address book, and logs fax activity.

Users can view received faxes directly within the interface, print them, or convert them into standard document formats like PDF or PostScript. The software interfaces directly with local hardware modems via serial ports or compatible network endpoints, requiring appropriate system permissions and hardware configuration to operate successfully.
