Keyboard App Builder

Keyboard App Builder is a software tool designed to construct customized keyboard applications for users on the Linux platform. Published by SIL International under the MIT license, it utilizes underlying Keyman keyboard configurations to package and deploy input methods into standalone installable packages. The application guides developers through the process of defining layouts, adding fonts, and setting icons without requiring low-level mobile or desktop programming expertise.

Created primarily to support linguistic fieldwork and minority language communities, the utility produces applications containing specific character sets and orthographies.
