GMaps WV

GMaps WV is an Android application that presents Google Maps inside a WebView wrapper. It is intended for users who want a small app entry point to the web version of Google Maps rather than a separate full mapping client. The application’s role is to load the map service in an embedded browser view and provide access to the functions that the web interface exposes.

Because it is a wrapper, its behavior depends on the Google Maps web page and on Android’s WebView component. Features, layout, sign-in behavior, and service availability are therefore governed by the loaded web service rather than by an independent map engine in the app. The project is published by woheller69 under the AGPL-3.0-or-later license.
