AlexGames

AlexGames is a collection of small games for Android, built around Lua as the language the individual games are written in. Instead of installing each title separately, the user opens one application and picks a game from the set it carries, with the Lua code running inside the shared host.

The project also covers the server side of the same idea: alongside playing on the handset, it can act as a web games server, so the games are reachable through a browser rather than only through the Android build. That makes the application useful both as a way to play on a phone and as a starting point for someone who wants to look at how a Lua game host is put together.
